Co-manage the largest VISN operation within Network; supervise and lead a staff of 18 senior Contracting Managers and support staff located at 8 major medical centers throughout New England, comprising a team of 120 Acquisition professionals. Coordinate with DOC in overseeing the Acquisition Workforce activities for the procurement of Medical, Facilities, Construction, Commodities, and Research services. Conceive, create, and implement initiatives for continuous improvement related to personnel and career development, operating procedures, and the overall management of business practices in meeting customer requirements within an extremely dynamic and evolving business/medical organization.
