As the Experience Manager at Public Library of Science (PLOS), I lead the strategy, management, engagement, and communication for over 13,000 volunteer board members, who are essential for advancing open science and peer review. With more than six years of experience in this role, I have successfully scaled and improved the programs and operations across 14 journals, conducting user experience research and actioning outcomes to better understand, incentivize, and meet the needs of the board members.I am passionate about working with purpose and fostering a culture of collaboration, empathy, and innovation. I advocate for volunteers and act as a liaison in cross-functional projects and initiatives, leveraging my excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. I also line manage an international team, and am the president of two internal committees that promote corporate culture and climate action. I love volunteering in my free time.
