•oversee technicians work load and make sure jobs are finished in a timely manner and quality work is being performed •Inspect bays, pm carts and other work spaces are clean and up to osha and penske standards •Updating customer statuses of repairs and completed work via phone and emails•Aid the shop in finding quality parts for repairs via sister city or vendor •Manage the planner for alarms, action grams and outside ro’s and ensure techs aren’t running over on ert’s• maintain pm percentage and make sure quality services are being performed •manage and organize tire inventory for the shop•Finish and review ro’s in real time for accuracy •Hold daily shift huddles with shop before start up and inform them of what’s new and what’s expected of them through out the day and anything that can be improved upon •Daily battery checks •Checking and sending out reports daily • meet with technicians and csr’s on what goals they are trying to meet and what’s the next step for training and requirements for promotions•oversee new hire training and development •handle 24/7 road call requests • billing notifications and requests •oversee repairs of 800+ units
