Leading training and implementations for JDS by fulfilling the following responsibilities: - Gain product knowledge to share with the team - Mentor and train new employees - Communicate expectations, appraise job results, counsel employees - Evaluate client needs for initial scope of project - Review project plan with project manager - Consult on Retail concepts within the applications - Recommend strategies, policies, and procedures to clients to help them operate their business. - Manage resources for implementation - Create processes and procedures to ensure we become more efficient within JDS - Implement policies and procedures by defining, delivering, and supporting implementation concepts - Review policies and procedures; change for improvement as necessary - Manage multiple projects - Assess client’s need for product configuration - Configure POS software to meet clients’ expectations - Install / Upgrade POS software, back office software, and communications between the two - Create documentation on installation and support procedures - Test areas of the product at the appropriate time (when possible) of rollout - Manage/maintain all client relationships
