Launch the opening of the Seattle office for an established San Francisco design firm. -Create and implement marketing and business development plans for existing and new markets.-Work closely with the firm’s Principals to develop new business strategies for the Retail sector.-Establish communication processes and procedures between Seattle and San Francisco.

Managed the operations of the Seattle Store Planning and Design satellite office, provided planning and design direction for all store remodels for the Northwest Region of Macy's.-Directed team in managing over $10m of Divisional store remodels and vendor shop installations to drive sales and profit.-Drove district office projects for the Northwest region to accommodate the re-alignment of the new Macy's structure.-Successfully guided staff through the transition between Macy's Northwest and Macy's West.

Collaborated and managed over $50m of Divisional and Corporate capital annually for a $1.3B Division of Macy's comprised of 63 stores across 6 states.-Worked in partnership with Division Principals to the build Capital plan for Merchant requests and store renovations.-Provided design direction for store remodels, vendor installations and fixture roll-out programs to support growing sales trends.-Inspired and challenged store planning staff to perform at their highest level to cultivate the company's sales and customer service initiatives.

Handled over $20M of Divisional remodels and vendor installations annually. Supervised and developed a staff of store planners, designers and systems personnel, gave planning and design direction on Divisional remodel projects.-Built a team from the ground up that executed projects in a creative, accurate and rapid manner to support new sales trends-Developed a successful internship program, which led to full time positions-Successfully led Store Planning team through 29 Meier and Frank store conversions during the May Company merger under tight time frames and strict budget restraints.-Developed "Best Practice" planning and design standards for faster turn around on projects.

Managed over $10 Million of Vendor and Private Brand installations annually.-Effectively interfaced with Division personnel, outside retail vendors, architectural consultants and contractors to initiate, plan, and coordinate execution of all vendor installations.-Developed and published a procedure for executing vendor shops from conception to completion.-Negotiated and set design criteria with outside vendors to ensure continuity within all stores.

Planned, designed and managed multiple phases of store renovations and vendor installations ranging from $10K-2M under strict deadlines.-Acted as planner, designer and construction manager on multiple jobs.

Planned and merchandised store renovations for Macy's West-Worked on Southern California region, converting Broadway stores into Macy's.-Developed block plans and construction documents on multiple new and large scale projects for Macy's West. Partnered closely with all levels of personnel ranging from merchants to general contractors to produce a lucrative result.

Assisted in planning, design and production of construction documents for store renovations-Integral team member in producing the annual square footage report-Mentored and trained store planning staff on AutoCad
