Current Start Up companies:• Buildxact: Cloud-based construction SaaS provider in North America, UK, and Australasia, a leading platform growing 100%+ per annum. IPO planned for 2024 with an expected valuation of $1B+. • UpMarket: an innovative grocery - cafe concept that offers healthy and unique grocery products co-located with a lively cafe experience; currently have two stores under construction.• Biosenta: former CEO; the main product is called Trifiller, a patented nano-particle that replaces up to 12 carcinogenic chemicals. Trifiller prohibits microbes including MRSA and other life threatening bacteria and viruses in a range of materials. Biosenta is a public company.Private Equity engagements:• KKR/Standard General: President and Chief Executive Officer, RadioShack (contract employee). Restructured the firm, launched new products, and increased gross margin rate 10%+. Resulting sale achieved 100%+ return for shareholders.• ValueAct Capital: PE firm with $16B funds, acted as an advisor in relation to a $77B investment.• Searchlight Capital Private Equity: Interim Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Gymboree Corp.

Reporting to the Chairman of Wesfarmers and member of the Wesfarmers’ Senior Leadership Team, led four-year, end-to-end transformation with approx. 120 major projects, dramatically improving profitability.

A $6B diversified public company with retail, financial services, internet, restaurants, home improvement, travel and product repair. Comprised of 24,000 associates, 470 stores, a dealer network of 2,000 stores, a national network of home improvement and repair facilities, and 120 travel agencies.Prior to Sears Canada, EVP, Store Operations for Kmart USA overseeing approx. 1,450 stores, including full-line grocery stores, and 140,000 employees.

Reporting to the CEO and Chairman, Barry Sternlicht, responsible for corporate development, strategic planning, marketing strategy, brand management, new products, and franchise sales. Led a team of 15 VPs.

Reporting to the CEO, responsible for M&A and post-acquisition integration improvements by working with the Presidents of nine businesses. The financial goal was to grow net income by more than 10% annually.

Clients included a UK based bank, an insurance company, a sports franchisor, an automotive manufacturer, and a retailer.
