I am an Inspector of Pressurised Equipment, Competent persons for Pressure vessels and Steam Generators. I am also a Coating Inspector and I have done the Competant Persons for Non Metallic Course. I am running my own office of Saiba Engineering providing a vendor inspection service concentrating but not limited to KZN. I started my carrier as an apprentice fitter for Eskom at Arnot Power Station. I did my trade test at Olifantsfontein and passed with a distinction. Thereafter I worked as a Fitter and was promoted Maintenance Foreman and then promoted to Planner/Inspector.at Dow AgroSciences in Canelands.After 10 years of service, I left Dow AgroSciences to then join P.B Power (Parsons Brinckerhoff) as an Inspector. I left P.B Power and worked as a contract Tankage Inspector for Engen Refinery for about 4 years. I then started my office under Saiba Engineering which is my current employment status. At Saiba Engineering, I provide a Vendor Inspection Service to my clients. I have also being doing shutdown work at the Refineries from 2004. The list of Refineries include Sasol Secunda, Engen Refinery, Sapref Refinery, Caltex Refinery, Petro SA and Natref.
