The Latin American-Caribbean Centre (LACC) is a regional organisation which facilitates initiatives (mainly educational) between Latin-America and the English-speaking Caribbean, as well as between the Caribbean and the greater world. I participate in an ongoing English Language Programme in which groups of engineers of Petroleo de Venezuela (PDVSA) are taught the language for 3 months both in the classroom and while being exposed to and doing research on Jamaican culture.
