Senior Payroll Manager
Current• Payroll-related functions including, but not limited to processing new hires, terminations status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposits. • Oversee the review, verification, and processing of payroll data. • Oversee the processing of manual checks, as necessary. • Develop and implement systems for accurate storage and maintenance of payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and vacation and other accrued leave. • Respond to all payroll-related inquiries including but not limited to payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, child support payments, and employment verifications; resolves employee issues. • Maintain compliance with State and Federal Wage & Labor regulations impacting payroll. • Responsible for complete and accurate timecard processing. • Ensures all payroll transactions, such as adjustments, terminations, bonuses, corrections, etc. are processed accurately and timely. • Maintain accuracy of employee related information such as status changes, transfers, compensation changes, and PTO accruals. • Process and prepare manual checks such as final checks, severance payments, bonuses, and adjustments. • Ensures that payroll taxes, contributions to employee benefit plans and related information all returns and reports are paid or filed timely and accurately. • Provide recommendations to resolve basic and more complex payroll issues. • Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from the database as needed. • Assist with Benefits Administration and flow of deductions. • Maintain and prepare reports for required audits.
