Deng has worked with different companies in various positions (researcher, writer, admin & operations officer, marketing practitioner, systems analyst, teacher) enabling businesses & organizations to reach its potential. Making their dreams her dream, she then became an entrepreneur herself endowing relevance to her wholistic learning from each experience. Recently, she was COO at 8layer Technologies, a fellow at IdeaCorp, Inc. and one of the principal initiators of KahelOS.In the country's Free and Open Source Software Community, she's known to shepherd competent & passionate practitioners who can share their knowledge through simple talks and other avenues for free especially to schools. For Deng, this is a constant reminder that what we gain and learn from the Open Source Community is priceless.In the early cognizance of Open Source in the Philippines, Deng w/ other fellow Open Source practitioners utterly convinced companies to contribute to the advocacy of spreading the beauty of F/OSS. Her ultimate wish is to have a relevant and sustainable open source project beneficial to Filipinos. Among other talents, she composed the City Hymn of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan and one of the composers of the "Celebrate Software Freedom Day" song.As the Head Honcho of Intelimina, she rigidly upholds an open environment in exploring one's limits within bounds of on target delivery. As a person with simple joys, she's mostly interested in people and issues that uphold and promote equity, education, freedom and integrity in attaining the basic good deeds.She is a strict yet cool & a calm confidante to her four gems.
