As the Commercial Director of The HBP Group and HBP Systems my role is to oversee and the support the sales and marketing activities within our organisation, as well as working closely with Kamarin Computers, Jugo Systems and our in-house brands, including KCPOS and VisiSoft.I work with a talented team of Directors to help drive the growth of our business, which we firmly believe comes from providing an outstanding level of service to our customers and creating a fantastic place to work for all of our members of staff.We have been working towards achieving a Best Companies accreditation which provides us with the focus and guidance on how to continually improve every area of our business β from our working environment, training and development opportunities, work/life balance and employee benefits. This goal was achieved in October 2022 when we were awarded with a 1 Star accreditation from Best Companies, but will now strive to retain this accreditation and push toward 2 star and 3 star accrediations in the future.During my time as Commercial Director we have developed a talented team of sales consultants and account managers who liaise directly with our customers, and potential customers, to help them solve a range of IT and software related challenges.The marketing team is responsible for communicating the benefits of our solutions to our target audience and ensuring that both existing and new businesses are aware of how we can help and the services we provide.I firmly believe that both βsalesβ and βmarketingβ should be seen in a positive way, but in order for this to happen they must be done correctly. My approach is to ensure that we always focus on the challenges that businesses face and how IT and software can be used to solve them. This normally allows businesses to free up time, reduce costs, prevent problems and ultimately allow a company to focus on what they do best. Through a structured approach to sales we always aim to understand, explain and justify all of our solutions and Iβm consistently filled with pride by the achievements of the teams that I manage and our organisation as a whole.
