• Founded Sci.Stud, (scistud.wix.com/home) an online career resource that provides over 25 career profiles and articles to help science students transition to science or non-science careers.

• Conducted research for and wrote articles to showcase alumni and graduate students’ career paths, and to profile local events in the scientific community (13 articles published to date).

• Snedden Lab (May 2012 to Dec 2015) - Worked independently and in teams to uncover the roles of multiple genes in plant stress response and development. Presented a poster and co-authored two academic papers.• Hill Lab (Oct 2015 to March 2017) -- Conducted research and analysis to uncover the roles of a liver protein in cell division. Presented two poster presentations and co-authored an academic paper.

• Instructed 120 undergraduate students in weekly lab experiments and evaluations (tests and assignments).

• Consulted students for feedback on graduate courses and degree requirements in this elected position. Assembled feedback into reports for analysis by graduate committee to inform decision-making.
