Have worked in the Dept. of Corrections in the Industry Area as a Key Data Superintendent then crossed over into the Education Dept. While working in Key Data, I assisted inmates to reach their goals in keystrokes to become successful, so that they never return to prison. As a Pre-Release and Re-Entry Instructor,I gave inmates resources to help with acquiring valid state I.D.cards, report to parole, how to open a checking account, and various other life skills. I Assisted with interviewing skills, filling out job applications and resume writing. Schedule guest speakers from various agencies to assist inmates to be productive citizens. After retirement from the Dept. of Corrections, I persued a career working with high risk teenage girls. As a manager my duties were oversee daily operations such as hiring and training new staff, scheduling program activities & employees, budget petty cash each week, attend meetings to help the girls reunite back with their families.
