Working within an advanced digital pre-press environment, I developed a comprehensive understanding of the packaging industry from concept through to full technical specification.As part of a progressive role, I was involved with some of the company’s larger accounts. An example of this was to manage a new brand image for Esso across a broad range of labels which also involved liaising with a New York design agency and coordinating over 11 printers throughout Europe.As an Account Manager for Cott Europe, one of the largest soft drinks producers and major supplier to Sainsburys, Safeways, Tesco and Virgin, responsibilities included controlling a consistent image across an array of substrates and print disciplines such as Litho, Flexo, Gravure and Letterpress.I also was an Account Manager for Lever Fabergé, working on some of their well known brands Physio Sport, Impulse, Brut and Lynx. Assisting and supporting them throughout the various transitional stages of artwork, from design, artwork build, repro through to print.I also worked closely with both Lever Fabergé and their various printers to help them improve the quality and consistency of their brands throughout the various print processes.I also ensured the smooth transfer of this technical knowledge into Seven’s site in Australia to help them set up this process with their new client Lever Rexona.
