Ignite! Reading is a nonprofit whose mission is ensuring every child receives coherent foundational reading skills instruction grounded in the science of reading when they are in kindergarten and first grade so that every possible educational and life opportunity is accessible to them. Participated in the inaugural cohort of reading tutors, receiving over 100 hours of training, development and coaching in the Science of Reading and an evidence-based reading curriculum. Tutored young children in 1:1 environment, remotely via Zoom using Open Up Resources’ curriculum

Helped the Alumni department in alumni relations. I worked with Raiser's Edge in updating alumni demographics. I also helped with envelope stuffing and any office tasks that needed to be completed.

Worked in the Marvel library. Worked with the circulation of the comics within the library. Updated new materials that were coming in every week, created barcodes, and entered into the library database. Tasks also included working with archival materials and entering it into the library catalog.

Brooklyn College

Worked with signing students in and out of the computer lab. Tasks included helping students know how to use the databases available to them. College assistants were also sent to the main library to help with circulation of the books.

Worked on a LIFE Magazine donation that was given to the institution. Organized and helped to make finding aids for researchers. Each photograph got a description and was entered into the Museum System.
