This has been built from a breadth and depth of business acumen coupled with a significant understanding of people through experience, diverse professional development and my understanding of applied neuroscience. Therefore, I specialise in working with coachees who’s behaviours or attitudes are impacting their performance or their self-belief and which may be affecting others. I also coach leaders on enhancing their team’s performance, handling performance issues, navigating change and managing stakeholder relationships.People tell me that my straight-forward style is skilfully challenging, compassionate and flexible as well as being thought-provoking and inspirational. They say this enables them to make a sustainable change in their approach, situation or that of their teams, that is then reflected in their business results. Also I have designed and delivered many 60min to 10-day development programmes, these predominantly focus on aspects of change and transformation. They also include difficult conversations, coaching, effective communication, team development and master classes in presentation skills. Similarly, I have designed and facilitated a large diversity of business sessions for groups of 4 to 60. These have been delivered across Europe, the US and Latin America. I am the author of the book "A Field Guide for Managers: Bringing out the best in people". It has 52 chapters, full of exercises, templates and methods, to help managers bring out the best in their people and improve business results. I have written it to be both practical and informative. I also have a doctorate in professional practice (applied neuroscience and coaching) which researched into how appreciating pertinent aspects of the brain opens up possibilities for change and invigorates a coachee's motivation to take actions.Previously I spent 14yrs working in various operational leadership roles at Mars Drinks including Engineering, Quality, Production and Learning & Development.
