​Denis Beaulieu is a dedicated and experienced law enforcement professional with over 13 years of service with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Denis works as the North Vancouver Detachment - Traffic Services Unit Commander at the rank of Sergeant. As a dedicated public safety professional, he strives to provide the best possible service to the community while contributing to numerous public safety programs. He has a strong background in policing achieved through multifarious professional training and work experiences. He has received multiple awards for his hard work and dedication to reducing harm on public roadways, namely his significant number of impaired driving investigations, and his efforts in reducing distracted driving to instill positive change in the driving behaviour of daily road users. Accordingly, Denis has been recognized​​ on multiple occasions as a Subject Matter Expert by his colleagues within his field of policing.Outside work, he spends his time with his wife and son, mainly walking around and exploring the community. He also frequently returns to his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario where he visits his family and friends. His hobbies include bicycling, scuba diving and binge-watching Netflix on rainy days. He actively volunteers with the St. John Ambulance Youth Program as the Provincial Cadet Sergeant Major where he develops and mentors young Canadian leaders.Denis holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, and an Associate degree in Military Arts and Science from the Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario.
