As a professional "plein air" artist I take great joy in painting outdoors in Vermont and around New England. I was trained in the "Gloucester School of Outdoor Painting" founded by Emile Gruppe.I greatly admire the work of Aldro Hibbard as well as the American Impressionist painter Willard Metcalf.My wife Katheryn a professional nature photography and I own the Chasse' Fine Art Gallery in Chester, Vt. located near Grafton and Weston Vermont. We also conduct Yoga/Art Workshops throughout the year. Katheryn is a certified yoga instructor and I run outdoor landscape painting workshops for beginners and intermediate artists.
