Denis Couturier is an accomplished leader with over 10 years’ experience in higher education organizations serving culturally rich, diverse populations exceeding 40,000 students. Denis began his career as a Director of Community Services and he quickly became one of the youngest leaders in Quebec Province’s public college system in Canada. For the past decade, he served in different management and executive positions such as the Interim Dean and Associate Dean of Student Affairs. He has been responsible for various programs and services in most areas of student affairs including, Student Life, Career Development, Health & Counseling Services, Financial Aid, Leadership Programs, and Faculty Partnerships.Currently, Mr. Couturier is Assistant Director of Custom Programs & Corporate Education at UCLA Extension, one of the nation's largest, and most comprehensive continuing education providers. Since January 2015, Mr. Couturier has had the privilege to establish relationships with clients for custom training and world-class educational programs for domestic and international corporations, government entities, and universities. Performance-driven with a strong customer approach, Mr. Couturier was able to more than double the department sales revenue for the 2nd Quarter in his first yearDenis holds a MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal and Paris Dauphine University and also holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Quebec in Montreal in Kinesiology. In 2013, he completed a Human Resources Management Certificate from UCLA Extension. A global executive with an impressive track record, including managing over a $2.5 million budget, Denis Couturier has led successfully and empowered teams of more than 50 professional staff members.
