I joined the company as a retail sales associate promoting a range of computer software, parts and complete systems. During the first twelve months I was also involved in the expansion process which included location sourcing for our new store, design and renovation of the premisses, and subsequently managing the store. Since it was a smaller store all necessary roles that were needed for it to function were amalgamated into one. Which meant that my role had all different facets of sales, customer service, cash and eftpos system handling, assembly and repair of computers systems, software installation and warranty processing, and also pick up and delivery of goods.Despite the many challenges that came with that role, there were also many invaluable lessons and experiences.

My responsibilities included maintenance of existing customer database and it's expansion, price list updates and distribution, and at times even delivery of goods. Good customer relationship was a top priority of mine so regular visits to customer's retail stores were necessary to ensure it's longevity.
