Lead Designer on RT Window Plugs (SMC Inner/Outer Panels to replace Glass for Panel Van) Support Advanced Composites Engineering for RFQ's and manufacturing feasibility. Lead Design and Release of Active Grille Shutters (AGS) to Ford TeamCenter. Supported weekly Design Reviews with CAD and Web-ex meetings to package AGS as a Mini Module with Head Lamps, Grilles, Hood Latch/Cable, Horn and Wiring.

Received Class A Surface fromstudio for review of manufacturing and SDS requirements. Designed injection molded Grill Brackets, Front & Rear Fascia Isolators, Closeouts for Fog Lamp Openings, and Rear Step Pads. Supported the 2005 Grand Marquis Grill Opening Panel (GOP) as Master Package Champion and Primary Designer/Program Manager. Lead designer on the team that created a hydrauliclift/lower system for the F150 tailgate (PN96) by providing drawings for manufacturing quotes and the internal fabrication shop to build a working prototype for demonstrations.

Lead contact for Lincoln Town Car Headlamp Design. Initial design reviews with Lincoln Studio to verify lighting requirements of lamp design and packaging. Supported Optics Engineering with surface models for simulations in ASAP. Ford Ranger Seating program.Utilized PDGS for CAD. Completed “A” & “B” surface changes to foam pad models for clearance, comfort & H-point issues. CAD Revisions to stampings:cushion pans and mounting brackets. Followed Seat Asy’s and Sub-Asy’s for DVP testing. Participated in 8D Problem Solvingexercises with engineering team. Completed design proposals and initiated RFQ’s for program proposals to Ford.

Ford Programs-PDGSDeveloped “B” side surface of exterior ornamentation. Bodyside/Liftgate Moldings, Claddings, Running Board Assemblies, Badges and Nameplates. Completed changes to Class “A” surfaces utilizing Auto fit Surfaces and using B-Spline Analysis Tools. Developed door and window seal systems. Completed full detail and assembly drawings for release.
