1st of March Mission at Knauf Insulation Illange (FR)The mission was to grow in maturity and stabilized all Logistics processes, improve the strategy with internal and external warehouses and to enforce the link between production dept and the supply chain.- Reduce the cost and improve the quality of the workers processes and the accuracy of the available stock. (The company suffered a cyber-attack a year earlier)- Come back with the WMS up and running. (Optimized the stock accuracy and respect the FIFO)- Negotiate and put in place the new external WH. => Study of the right product at the right place to optimize the transport.- Closing the actual external WH. - Clean up and reorganized the warehouse: • Product to be reconditioned. • Product to be scrapped.• Useful product for sales- Define and clean up the consumer products places and assure the FIFO strategy.- Creation of all procedures of each step into the WH from incoming goods until Outgoing.- Weekly internal audit of Logistics Dept as well as loading of truck have been launched.- Update of the KPI, follow up of different machine used by the WH.
