The role involves taking the profits recorded from dividends and interest payments and applying it to the various clients that have accounts with the Trust company. This is a heavy traffic sector of the company as we could be performing up to 50 corporate actions per day.It also allows me to consult with our investment management team on certain ventures being undertaken by companies. Through this consultation I then relay the views of our IM team to the client advisers. Interacting with client advisers is key to the running of the investment operations team and it is an integral part of my job. I also create new assets, this is done when the company decides to invest in a new company on behalf of the client. It is my duty to create the asset and ensure that all clients wanting to purchase this stock are included. This is key as later a client could miss out on any payouts later.Within the corporate actions team, it is my duty to ensure that the bank accounts to which our corporate actions are paid into are reconciled competently. To do this I interact with the various teams within the company to make sure that nothing is missed or left outstanding for long periods

Through the two years with the company we created a confluence strategy that allowed me to create an 80% success rate. The strategy can be manipulated and developed and can then be adopted to all areas of the market.In order to analyse the specific market area as a whole I must also take into consideration the fundamental side. This involved getting market sentiment through what experts think as well as looking at the condition of a specific company, sector, or entire economy. This was dependant upon what area of the market I was required to analyse. By incorporating our technical and fundamental techniques to analyse the market along with adopting the confluence strategy I was able to create a market that was a favourable outcome to me.Upon implementing a trade, this was immediately logged by me and recorded in our database. Once the trade was finished it was then recorded again showing profit or loss and then sent to the director of the company. Along with this I would ensure that the betting platform used was aware of the trade and I would also make sure that the recorded and catalogued it correctly. Throughout this whole process I was in a hands on role.
