During this turnkey Project on London Underground I managed 3 sub-contractors, Pirelli, Nokia and Texscan on the new £10M Cenrtal Line Project installing Fibre and Comms Equipment at every location on the Central Line (49 stations and numerous other locations). DPSS installed all the CER Equipment, Power, Comms etc and also all the Equipment Cabinets and Cabling at the new Main Control Centre at Wood Lane. This project was the first to allow a Main Contractor to Sign and Authorise AWCs (Authority to Work Certificates) and I was the first Manager to be able to do that outside of LUL Employees.
