Price.ru is a project which started in 1997. So navigating the codebase and the architecture with more than two decades of history is my job here. What I do:Developing and deploying new services.Fixing bugs, refactoring, adding new features, optimizing performance, modernizing services with code dating back to early 2000s.Participating in code reviews with other team members.Steering architectural decisions into directions of improving transparency and maintainability.Working with dev-ops team helping them to figure out issues.Working with business/product side of the company, participating in planning of new tasks and features, assessing possibilities and limits of our systems and our team resources.The stack I work with consists of python, various web frameworks (django, flask, fastapi and few other), various databases (mostly postgres, but also mysql and some nosql solutions), stream processing (kafka). I also work on maintaining some older parts which are written in C, Perl and Python2.

API integration with some popular Russian marketplace services: Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex-Market, Avito, Aliexpress.Developing and managing IT processes in a warehouse switching from wholesale model to marketplace based FBS (fulfilled by seller) model which required developing new features for company's home grown ERP system (based on 1C Enterprise tech):- Syncing inventory and orders between ERP and marketplaces- Automated printing of logistic labels on zebra-compatible printers.- Developing an Android application for packaging and shipment control.- Developing a python/bottle microservice for integration with marketplaces expecting a webhook on the seller's sideMaintaining and enhancing integration between the ERP and warehouse management system (CMS3000, oracle sql, some enhancements were written in python):- Providing access to some actions and data from WMS via ERP interface to make warehouse operators life easier by allowing company employees in other positions to access data they are interested in without them having to learn complex specialized warehouse software.- Streamlining some common operations people do processing incoming and outgoing orders/invoices.Providing tech support, solving administrative issues.

Solo-developer on a web scraping project. Creating a distributed system for consuming data from sports betting sites, finding specific outcomes by criteria provided by my client, and automatically placing bets on these outcomes.Besides developing the system, I was also concerned with deployment, monitoring and continued support of the system until its EOL.
