I am very proud to start this new challenge of Vice President Procurement for AGC Glass Europe. Together with a fantastic team of professional experts, I have the mission to improve the competitivity of our glass industry but also to guarantee a perfect reliability for our 1500+ customers across the world and, mainly, to decarbonize the glass production and logistic. Procurement will play an important role on our -30% CO2 ambition by 2030. We must find new suppliers, or develop our current partners, in the way to 0 carbon (scope 3). We must support our R&D in finding suppliers for our new chemicals and our engineering dept to find the most CO2 efficient machineries. We must keep on increasing our own, green, power generation (already 15 windmills and tens of thousands of PV panels running on our sites). We must keep developing our logistic partners towards electrical transport and keep on building our current multi-modal transport (yes, we already run boat, trains…). I hope that the 2 Bio Eur+, spent annually, will motivate our current suppliers, and new ones, to progressively evolve into the decarbonation.

In charge of the sales as well as the entire value chain to guarantee a positive customer satisfaction and retention (planning, Comex, back office, quality, transport and marketing). We are selling flat glass to B2B customers for the construction, the appliance, the furniture and the para-automotive markets. We grew from 0 USD in 2011 to over 100 millions USD/year today.

In charge of the Marketing for AGC flat Glass Europe : assess the growing needs from the entire value chain, select the best potential products/services, coordinate their development, launch them through internal and external communication means and make them a success. Coordinate a team of 12 people and budget of several millions Euro

Analyse the Indian flat glass market in terms of volumes, needs and prices. Build the business case for investments of a new factory and added-value operations in the country
