I am an Associate Partner with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson- leading our New York office. I've been with the practice since graduating from Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture in 1997, having begun my career in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania office; I moved to the Bay Area in 2000 to help establish the firm’s Northern California office; and returned east in 2017 to lead our New York City office.I enjoy the range of projects I've been involved with- working at both large and intimate scales in a wide range of materials and contexts. My experience includes a variety of work including private residential, corporate interiors, multi-family housing, urban infill, affordable housing, hospitality, retail and product design- from inception to completion. These projects often demonstrate a humanistic approach to architecture and explore common themes such as context, craft, and designing for people.Recent notable projects include the North American headquarters for venture capital group Jerusalem Venture Partners- 3 floors of office space in New York’s landmarked Soho district; a penthouse renovation at 56 Leonard; offices for KKR in San Francisco; high profile retail stores for Apple Inc.; and the Creekside Residential compound.I very much appreciate close collaborations with talented craftspeople who help us turn ideas into reality, resulting in projects that highlight the interplay between dramatic scale and intimate detail.
