My name is PULCHA Denis, I am citizen of Ukraine and live in Odessa.In 2001 I graduated Odessa Maritime College of Technical Fleet - diploma of young specialist.In 2013 I graduated Odessa National Maritime Academy - diploma of specialist (mechanical engineer).I started my seaman’s career in 2003 .I worked on bulk carriers, Ro-Ro, drill research vessel, PSVs. In 2008 I started my job in the offshore fleet. Since 2011 and at the moment I am working in Bourbon offshore company.For the last 9 years I have been holding a Chief Engineer position on DP2 PSV type vessels (series: GPA 670, SPP35B, P 105, PX 105) I worked with next type of engines: Ube-Mitsubishi 6UEC 65/135D; Sulzer 7RND68; Sulzer 16ZV 40/48; GE 7 FDS 16B 2; Cummins QSK 60; MAK 6M25, Caterpillar 3516B, 3512B I am looking for a new company and would be glad to get offers from you.     Is directly responsible and accountable to the Master for the supervision and management of all technical and related departments on board;- Shall provide reliable operation of the vessel’s engines, machinery and all other mechanical equipment;- Shall cooperate with the Vessel Master in order to split the maintenance duties between engine and deck departments;- Apply, follow and encourage Company policies and procedures in the performance of all tasks, with special emphasis on the protection of the environment and pollution prevention;- Shall ensure that Company policies and procedures are rigorously maintained with related job and task planning, application of PPE, safety equipment, RA, PTP use, Checklists, TBT and task performance;- Shall plan and supervise technical and engineering related operations including the corrective and preventative maintenance and inspection of the vessel’s equipment, machinery and associated plants;- Shall analyse and report any technical problems, making recommendations and assisting as applicable with any corrective maintenance, temporary and permanent repairs;- Shall prepare and maintain all technical department related Logbooks, documentation and filing including when necessary, the preparation of dry dock and other repair related reports;- Complying with “International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships” (MARPOL) regulation requirements; Role on board DP vessel- Ensure that all the mechanical and electrical systems on the vessel are maintained in safe and efficient manner in order to support safe DP operations;- Ensure that the tests, repairs and replacements are carried out to DP systems and components with a reference to manufacturers approved maintenance procedures.- Ensure sufficient power is always available to meet demand;- Ensure the vessel is set up per Critical Activity Mode (CAM) / Task Appropriate Mode (TAM);

    Is directly responsible and accountable to the Chief Engineer. Has whatever authority the Chief Engineer delegates upon him with regard to the Technical Department’s onboard. Shall support the Chief Engineer by carrying out any legal orders and / or instructions issued by the Chief Engineer when such orders and / or instructions are sound and within the accepted practices of good seamanship. Shall ensuring that Company policy and procedure is rigorously maintained with all technical and engineering related job and task planning, with special emphasis on the correct use and application of PPE, safety equipment, Risk Assessment, JSA use, Checklists, Pre-task “tool box talks” and all other safety precautions relating to job and task performance. Shall report any technical problems to the Chief Engineer and assisting as applicable with any corrective maintenance, temporary and permanent repairs. Shall load and discharge fuel and other bulk cargoes as applicable in conjunction with the Chief Engineers instructions and orders and the vessel’s accepted procedures. Shall supervise as required all required training and familiarisation of Junior Engine Room Personnel, particularly when such personnel are new to the vessel. Shall assume temporary emergency command of the engine room and act in the place of the Chief Engineer in the event that the Chief Engineer is absent or unable to fulfil his functions due to accident, illness, or other cause. Shall assist as required in the routine housekeeping, care, cleaning and maintenance of the vessel’s machinery, plant and other applicable spaces as may be required or as directed by the Chief Engineer. Also responsible for Main engines, compressors, cargo pumps, deck equipment, methanol system, FI-FI pump, propulsion thrustres etc.
