Once in Groningen, I quickly learned the Dutch language by myself and experienced the cultural differences and challenges by doing some temporary jobs. Soon I was offered a position of Account Manager at Ogilvy advertising in Groningen. In 2001 I established my own strategic communication agency, carried responsibility for the major accounts, people development and finance. In 2017 I joined Energy Delta Institute / international energy business school as Managing Director where I was responsible for further development of the organization, its energy partner network and by that branding, corporate communication, business strategy and development and sales. As of January 2013 Storm Marketing Consultants company appointed me as her new CEO. We achieved exponential growth and were nominated for many awards, including the best digital consulting agency in the Netherlands. As of April 1st 2016, I was appointed director of the Innovation Board, later Economic Board with the main focus to keep each other informed as a platform.
