Concretely, I help (mainly public) organisations transform their services. It often starts with their administrative simplification goals, or a burning need to increase efficiency or interoperability, or the need to make the services delivered to citizens and businesses more relevant and more pleasant. Therefore I combine my experience in designing services in highly complex environments with an ongoing eduction in behavioural science (specialising in neuro, cognitive and social psychology).I am a highly strategic thinker, but can (and will) go very hands-on in my projects. I usually report directly to C-level functions and manage teams of transformation experts (including other service designers, UX specialists, researchers, product and service managers, business and functional analysts, tech teams etc.) and supplier-budgets.I often say “simple is not easy”.
