Consulted for, designed, adapted, implemented and co-ordinated a sustainable, local food security program for the Dutch-Caribbean island Saba.Successfully designed and implemented the adoption of modern, sustainable, climate smart agricultural production systems (soil-less and soil-based) on the island.Built local capacity of the population through education and training programs on sustainable food production systems (Hydroponics, Wicking-beds) and nutrition (Micro-greens).Designed and integrated an agricultural education program for the island that focused on primary pupils.

Coordinated and helped manage the Agro-Food module of the Young Experts Programmes (YEP) of the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).Point of contact for all agro-food-focused stakeholders of the YEP programme.

Managed and coordinated the secretariat of the Netherlands Nutrient Platform hosted by TheNetherlands Water Partnership (NWP).Managed and co-ordinated multi-stakeholder engagement between Dutch government ministries (LNV, IenW), knowledge institutes (WUR, WENR) and companies on closing nutrient loops/cycles within the Dutch agricultural chain with a focus on recovery of Phosphorus and Nitrogen (including from waste water systems).Coordinated and represented the interest of the members of the Nutrient Platform at the Europeanlevel through our engagement with the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP).

I developed and advices on a business case for the implementation of a novel infectious disease diagnostic tool for public health on the Dutch Caribbean Islands.
