I'm a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. I believe if you desire peace, you must work for justice. I respect people of integrity and decry hypocrisy, bigotry and bullying. When I’m not working you might find me hiking, playing guitar, reading, traveling, cooking or enjoying a cigar. I learned about politics and social justice from César Chavez and Robert Kennedy. I’ve been arrested for civil disobedience. I revere Hemingway, Dylan, Kristofferson and Leonard Cohen. I ponder the mysteries of fly fishing and the knuckleball. The best book I ever read was Blue Highways by William Least Heat Moon. I’ve travelled to Africa, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. I’ve piloted hot air balloons, raced bicycles, climbed mountains, jumped out of airplanes and made great friends along the way.
