After completing a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting and Finance at UTS Sydney, I attained Australian Chartered Accountants qualification whilst working for KPMG Sydney. Utilising this experience I relocated to London taking a position in the Custody and Funds Management team with the Bank of New York. I returned to Sydney in 2004 and attained the Australian Financial Planner License and began working at Lifestyle Financial Services during 2004. I then took the opportunity to move and attain a position as Wealth Manager providing financial advice to Australian and British nationals in Hong Kong as a licensed planner. This required me to have a broad understanding of offshore planning, tax and investment needs for clients living abroad. I particularly enjoyed formulating retirement planning strategies for clients who repatriated across two or three tax jurisdictions (with opinions from International tax lawyers). After 6 years and achieving my objectives of career and travel in Hong Kong my personal family grew and my family and I moved to Tokyo and Singapore for a further three years and then repatriated to Sydney at the end of 2014. As I find the rhythm of work and a having a young family in Sydney, I truly enjoy continuing to provide financial advice to clients at Kabel Financial Services. It is a family business and we are proud to have a strong client base that looks to hold a long term relationship with us. Financial Planning is of such a personal nature and we model our services on providing guidance through all stages of our clients lives.
