As a retired superintendent, I have over six years of experience in leading and managing the Union School District, where I oversaw the budget development, the hiring and retention of staff, and administration of the educational programs. I have a masters degree in administration from San Jose State University, with a focus on educational leadership and administration. I have also developed and implemented multiple initiatives to improve student achievement, teacher retention, and community engagement, working with diverse stakeholders and partners. My core competencies include strategic planning, budgeting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. My mission is to provide high-quality and equitable education for all students, and to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusion in the field of education.
