This educational program starting in August 2024 blends nature connection, cultural expression, and community-building through adult-child joint, and parallel Jewish learning that celebrates your family's heritage. Extended family is always welcome! The Olamim Family School is for families with children ages 4-8 with ties to Latin and Jewish peoplehood.

MOED: GLOBAL JEWISH PARTNERSHIP FOR RACIAL JUSTICEThe Perspective: Looking on our initiative through a “Global” lensWhat Are We BuildingTo develop an international convening for Jews from around the world who identify as Ethiopian descent, MOED** or Jews of Color (JOC).Our PurposeTo create a global alliance of activists and professionals who are working to address challenges related to Jews who identified as being from Ethiopian descent, MOED or JOC within the Jewish community and are committed to engaging non-white Jews in Jewish life and or community.This is the first global forum of the kind, and will provide leaders the space, resources and relationships to gain a deeper understanding of the various ways non-white Jews envision the Jewish future. In addition, this global convening will serve as a foundation for developing tools to address specific issues/topics and create a cadre of allies, both liberal and Orthodox, including Israeli, American, British, Canadian, African and South East Asian. Jews need to be effective helping other non-white Jews and themselves establish a language for who we are as a people.*Diversity, Equity and Inclusion**MOED - (pr. mo-aid) The Moed is multiracial, multicultural and celebrates the diversity of the Jewish people, as a light onto the nations. Moed first appears in Genesis, with the creation of the sun, moon and stars, thousands of years later to describe Jewish Holidays (Moadim) and when the Israelites wandered the desert with the Ohel Moed, the “tent of meeting.” The Moed was a designated sanctuary for all, at the center of the camp, surrounded by the 12 tribes of Israel, and the mainstage for the entire nation to gather and witness as a people - in the desert, in exile, and eventually in Jerusalem.

The IRC Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration (RAI) Department creates opportunities for refugees and other vulnerable migrants to survive and thrive in the United States and in Europe. With a network of 28 offices in the U.S. and 6 in Europe, RAI served over 300,000 clients in FY-22 through a diverse portfolio of programs.RAI continues to innovate programs and provide technical assistance to ensure that the most vulnerable refugees, asylum-seekers, immigrants, migrants, and other vulnerable groups have the necessary support to feel safe and well, get the services they need day to day, and become financially independent from the time they arrive, throughout their journeys, and in their new homes.

Jewtina y Co. is a Jewish and Latino/x organization on a mission to nurture Latin Jewish community, leadership and resiliency, and celebrate, explore, and raise awareness of Latin-Jewish history and multiculturalism. Through our VOCES community storytelling project, PUENTES leadership and resiliency development fellowship, Latin-Jewish learning resources and workshops, community members are able to examine their intersectionality and celebrate their multicultural identity.

2019-2020 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Cohort: DEI is at the core of everything we do within URJ Audacious Hospitality, and this cohort was designed to live out these integral values. Like past cohorts, 7 fellows engaged in seminars focusing on identity enrichment, professional development, Jewish learning, mentorship, equity and inclusion training, and other key topics. These fellows helped to pilot our first ever DEI Working Group Model and Congregational Assessment, develop resources and also worked directly with numerous clergy, lay leaders and camp leaders to implement organizational initiatives focused on making our communities more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
