As Senior Director of Public Affairs, I spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the mission of the University President and the institution as a whole. In this role, I am responsible for crafting and implementing robust government relations and communication strategies. Additionally, I cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with policymakers to drive forward the university's objectives. Through effective advocacy and engagement, I play a pivotal role in amplifying the university's impact and fostering positive community relations.

As a Commissioner for the Los Angeles County Women's Commission, I advocate for policies and programs that empower women and address gender disparities. Through collaboration with diverse stakeholders, I work to create a more inclusive and equitable community for all women in Los Angeles County.

Duties include reviewing and approving budget proposals, determining strategic plans, assessing the effectiveness of existing programs, advocating for the district's mission and goals, serving on various committees or task forces, participating in community outreach and education efforts, and making decisions regarding policies and mosquito abatement programs. Ensure that the Vector Control District is well-managed, has the resources and expertise needed to carry out its mission effectively, and is responsive to the communities it serves in solving pest control issues.

The Coro Women in Leadership (WIL) program supports the leadership development of women, establishing a pipeline for professional advancement, and creating a cross-sector network of women who support each other’s leadership development.
