I am a jewelry designer featuring sea-inspired designs from the coast of Maine in Biddeford Pool. My jewelry designs are sold in Down East Magazine's Shop: Gifts from Maine, as well as in small local boutiques under my brand Denise Dion Designs.

As Site coordinator I provided comprehensive coordination and scheduling of all activities of LearningWorks STEAM After School Program while ensuring a safe, orderly, welcoming and encouraging environment for all program participants.

Media Relations: Develop, implement, coordinate, maintain and analyze social media and public relations programs for Graves Library including maintaining and designing content for their website, blog and creating weekly press releases.Manage Circulation Desk in Children's Room: Check materials in and out; greet and register new patrons; collect fines, fees and book sales; manage overdue materials; provide basic computer and catalog assistance; answer reference questions and provide reader advisory to patrons; shelve returned books and shelf read; assemble patron requests and deliver them to Librarian; perform opening and closing procedures. Coordinate and execute Pre-school Children's Programs.

• Responsibilities included organizing all agency annual fund-raising events. Secured media, financial sponsors, volunteers and coordination of all events.• Worked with sub-committees in directing organization of potential new ideas for smaller fund-raisingevents.• Promotion via media press releases for purposes of creating awareness of agency services and events.• Organized council community outreach awareness events in communities throughout York County.• Coordinated agency volunteer program as well as volunteer appreciation evening.

• Initiated and coordinated new fundraising ideas to raise monies for programs that assist the homeless, those at risk for homelessness and projects to fund affordable housing projects of York County ShelterPrograms, Inc.• Specifically coordinated multiple Music Concerts at Merrill Auditorium and Biddeford City Theater.• Initiated and coordinated "Giving Trees", food drives and other service and public relations opportunities with groups in greater York County Area.• Forged connection between York County Shelter Programs and Church Community Food Pantry which provided financial and food products support of the Shelter Food Pantry.• Spawned new ideas in Fundraising such as Annual Housing for the Homeless Walk-a-thon (now yearly event).
