Denise Eichmann is internationally recognized for the design and construction of uniquely challenging, one-of-a-kind specialty landscape projects. Denise works collaboratively with architectural teams for conceptual planning and design, feasibility, construction documents and implementation.Denise's expertise includes the design, construction and installation of living green walls. Denise was hired to install the largest living wall in North America at Longwood Gardens in PA. This colossal vertical garden features 3,590 living wall panels and more than 25 species of plants. Denise and her Ambius team has managed 200+ living green wall projects in North America. including Queens University; Luxottica HQ NY; Boston Museum of Science; Apple Flagship Retail Stores ; AAR Headquarters; Lancaster Cancer Center; Embassy Suites Chicago Riverfront; 60+ Westin Hotels; and 10 IHG brand Even Hotels.Denise's other passion is the design and implementation of garden plantings on the open decks of cruise ships. Denise and her Ambius project team performed the first ever 'gardens at sea' on the Oasis Class Ship for RCCL. The success of the Central Parks on Oasis, Allure, Harmony, Symphony led to the Celebrity Edge RoofTop Garden. Current cruise ship projects are Virgin Voyages Scarlet 2020; Princess Cruises Sky 2019 and Enchantment 2020; and Celebrity Apex 2020.Previous marquee engagements include the the prestigious interior plantings at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery; the expansive indoor gardens at Cascades, Conservatory, Delta and Water Park at Gaylord Opryland Hotel Nashville; Wisconsin Institutes of Discovery Atriums; GWU Science & Engineering Complex DC; 8 interior gardens at the new US Embassy London; and the suspended 'Nature Clouds' at the Chicago Field Museum.Earlier works include many zoological parks and aquaria; conservatories; universities; hospitals; world class resorts and hotels; shopping malls; corporate headquarters, airports and casinos.
