Staffing Administrator & HR ManagerMajor Duties and Responsibilities:• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient current supply of new hire paperwork packets and updated supplies. • Responsible for scheduling and the actual conducting of new hire orientation appointments. Having a clear understanding of company practices, procedures, policies and benefits is necessary including that of medical, dental, disability and life insurance and 401K.) • Associate personnel files: Responsible for the setup and maintenance of separate files as required by law; the maintenance of reasonable measures of confidentiality related to such files and; for the "completeness" of personnel files. • Implementation and thereafter, the maintenance of a computerized Human Resource system including being responsible for the integrity of the system and for designing and generating and evaluating reliable reports. • Responsible for ongoing review and updating of the Associate Handbook in accordance with the company's policies, procedures and practices ( Flex Time Policy, Invention and Secrecy Agreement, Confidentiality and Arbitration Agreement, Dress code, Employee Recognition Policy, Performance Reviews) and in maintaining compliance with employment regulation and law. This includes maintaining current employment law postings at company office locations. • Responsible for the administration of any drug screen testing or background investigations of an associate. This includes reconciliation of bills received from providers. Practices reasonable measures of confidentiality.• Processing STD (Short Term Disability) and LTD (Long Term Disability) paperwork as well as FMLA paperwork.• Processing of subpoenas related to associate personnel files. Assists in research and documentation in preparation for litigation related to employment laws.• Administrating Benefits for all employees.
