Project WealthHub (nabTrade)Gathering and writing requirements for NAB’s next generation project involving all aspects of direct on-line trading.Leading various functionality and wire-frame deep dives with architects and developers for the on-line experience of the proposed trading platform.Subject matter expert on Client on-boarding, account funding structures and client data migration for the trading platform.Creating various processes and test cases around Client on-boarding and account structures.Lead business analyst in the Commercial team, in creating the Statement of Work contract with a main vendor.Creating trace-ability documents to achieve transparency on requirements and processes to enable monitoring of each vendors’ design and delivery.

Process mapping and analysing existing client on-boarding process for data quality and control improvements. This was needed due to data issues in the Single Name Report where exposure is tracked on a client basis.Producing data mapping analysis and documentation for altering data feeds between upstream systems to the Issuer Risk Database due to the elimination of an existing process.Assisting in QA release testing for a web-based Market Risk Reporting tool. Creating data quality test cases and KPIs on a new Market Risk data repository to centralize multiple sources for the front office. Performed various data querying and analytical exercises for the Transaction Position Data Integrity (TPDI) project. The TPDI project is a business initiative in understand the position data flows and leakages between front-office to the reporting platforms. This was done as part of Credit Risk control to understand and ensure all valid external positions are taken into the exposure calculator under the correct simulations.

Shared Service FinancePerform various gap analysis in data being push through to the Basel II CalculatorMonitoring the manipulation of Basel II data across different banking systems and investigate where the data can be more efficient in calculating an accurate Risk Weight Asset figure.Working with Credit Risk in establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the data quality and accuracy being sent to the Basel II RWA Calculator. Was involved heavily in writing the Basel II KPI Policy submitted to FSA for approval.Leading the Information Quality team in performing various data analysis in testing the KPIs in a new Business Objects universeLiaising with various business technical teams in resolving both universe and data feed issues affecting the fluctuating KPIs on a monthly basisCorporate MarketsWas seconded to a Corporate Markets project for a duration of 6 months to resolve a pending issue affect data qualityDesigned and built a temporary data concept model in SQL Server to monitor the progress of the data issues in Corporate Markets. The output of this model assisted the business in a better understanding of the problem and gain a firm control in how to resolve the issue.
