Developed and implemented the foundation of Nortel’s call server product that provides Voice over IP Technology. These projects included several VoIP and VtoA (Voice over ATM) protocols, multiple platforms, multiple languages and interfaced with proprietary relational databases.Developed and implemented SIP based IP Smart phone prototype. This project was JAVA based using Microsoft Studio development environment and included the creation of a Web Server/Client application.Developed and implemented the Call Forwarding platform using the new half-call architecture. This project used Protel2 with a proprietary development environment and was deployed on the SOS platform.Drove a software robustness program for the advanced residential and business service set that resulted in the creation of a 1.2 million dollar development program that resulted in a year over year cost savings to Nortel of 4 million dollars.
