As the VP/ Community Development and Engagement Relationship Manager for North Texas at Cadence Bank, Denise Y Mason serves as a CRA representative in leading community development programs and projects that support the bank’s objectives for community outreach, reputation building and business development to include sourcing and identifying community development eligible mortgage, small business loans, investments, and community development loan opportunities. She is also responsible for monitoring market level compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) guidelines and goals and works with local market executives to develop strategies to address CRA deficiencies. - Promotes the creation and promulgation of strategic goals for all business units which have a significant impact on CRA performance-Promotes company involvement in Community Development efforts through community, industry/colleague and external resource partnerships- Establishes best practices to maximize resources for the fulfilment of CRA lending, investment and service goals- Reviews Community Development activities submitted by lines of business to insure CRA qualification

Leads business development activities with new and existing LMI clients to grow PNC sales, revenue and market share by working closely with nonprofit organizations in North Texas. Interfaces with senior leadership within current and prospective client organizations to position the value of PNC and secure mutually beneficial partnerships. Mentor, coach and onboard team members and serve as subject matter expert. Responsible to work with branches and non-profit organizations that serve LMI customers, community development and community based organizations.Builds strong relationships with branches who service LMI areas and/or families by educating branch managers on their role in assisting PNC in meeting CRA goals. Works directly with non-profit organizations to deliver financial education to their LMI families/communities and act as a key referral source by connecting them to our Retail and Business Banking partners.Manages Community Development grant and sponsorship requests to ensure the greatest impact for both the communities in which we serve, and PNC.Coordinates and administers LMI programs across the footprint, including Individual Development Accounts (IDA), PNC School Bank programs and Foundation Checking, while also providing financial education via train the trainer sessions to PNC employees and non-PNC facilitators.Provides CRA database support by capturing all CRA-eligible PNC employee service activities, recording activities in the CDB service database, and working with Relationship Managers (RM) to identify loans/investments that are likely to be closed/booked for entry into the CRA database.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of Community Relations programs or projects that support organizational Corporate Responsibility objectives for community outreach, reputation and business development. Also executes charitable giving and volunteerism activities in North Texas (Dallas/ Fort Worth as well as East & West Texas Community Markets) and provides support to the BBVA Compass Foundation, BBVA Compass Charity and BBVA Compass Volunteers. Responsible for achieving and monitoring CRA benchmarks and works individually or with a team to analyze requests for support, recommend decisions and manage program/project budgets.

• Senior regional leader responsible for the execution of a comprehensive Community Development program which maintains the highest possible CRA regional ratings in the Banks East Coast Expansion Region (CT, NJ, PA, DC, MD, VA, FL)• Developed and executed a CRA grant budget which includes non- profit due diligence and financial analysis and identifies and refers lending and investment opportunities• Manages the banks Community Development relationship with the FHLBNY AHP program• Creates and presents CRA performance context to bank regulators• Manages relationships with community groups and CRA activists within assigned region
