Serves as the quality management representative and champion for specific LYB Business Groups and is responsible to maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) for the assigned Business Groups, including ensuring ISO9001 recertification, supporting Quality Analysts in Manufacturing plants, generating/analyzing metrics of Customer Complaints and monitoring their timely closure, providing training in quality standards and tools (e.g., root cause analysis, Corrective Actions, etc.), and leading efforts to improve processes within the QMS.Support and engage Functional Groups (e.g., Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, Customer Fulfillment, Human Resources, Procurement, etc.) in execution and completion of audits.Coordinate scheduling, execution, and follow-up actions for external Quality Audits by the registrar.Auditor or Lead auditor in annual internal Quality Audits at departments under LYB’s ISO9001 certificationManage the process for Customer Complaints (e.g., entry, investigation, corrective action, closure, etc.) to Functional Groups controlling the processes involved in the root cause. Compile measures of Customer Satisfaction, analyze, and produce metrics to guide Functional Groups in their business quality goals and improvement initiatives.Monitor QN progress to ensure timely completion and closure of QNs to Customers’ satisfaction and serve as QN quality assurance or gatekeeper to ensure accurate root cause identification and robust corrective action plans by Functional Groups.Serve as the primary focal point for receiving Customer quality surveys/audit requests, scorecards, etc. Train Quality Analysts, Management, and Functional Groups on practices to meet the requirements of LYB’s QMS, including Quality Standards, Level1 procedures, Quality System tools, statistics, formal problem solving techniques, PDCA, and identification of systemic issues, data analysis, etc.

Strategic lead for North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Research material qualifications based on FTA criteria. Issue documents or explanation of non-qualification as needed.Support overall Export process by staying current with changes in US Export Compliance.
