About Denise Ramsey

**Top Skills- Drug Development (Clinical,CMC, Commercial)- Global/International Team Leadership & Execution (TPP development and plans (timelines, strategy, financial and regulatory scenarios)- Alliance Management and Collaborations- Vendor Management (CDMO, CRO etc.)- Board readiness and presentations- In- licensing due diligence (with Business Development)- Lifecycle Management- Launch Readiness (segmentation, sales materials/training, working with commercial regulatory and marketing)- Risk Management and problem solving/scenario planningI love biotech and drug development! It’s creative, fast- paced, aims to help those in need and I get to work with the smartest people out there. I have spent my entire career (25+) trying to understand the many facets and have learned many lessons along the way. I started my career in the lab but later realized that I needed to understand strategy and work closer with people- lab isolation was not for me. I found myself in program management and it fit the bill. Every time I realized I had a gap, I moved on to find. A job to fill the void. For example, I started program management in manufacturing but then realized I didn’t understand the strategy leading to my team making a particular compound. So, I moved to manage cross functional core teams. When it came to getting clinical trials enrolled on time, I realized I didn’t understand the complexity of recruitment, selecting the right sites , so I moved to understand this! When it came to launching drugs, I realized I had a gap in understanding commercial- hence another move. It’s paid off. I have been very successful at leading teams through their first IND, opening clinical sites and launching commercial products. Of curse, all with a team around me and getting everyone to row in the same boat to the same destination. I love this industry, working with people, solving complex problems and building relationships with co-workers and partners that I learn so much from. I have been successful in the role not because goals were always met, but because sometimes they weren’t and I take these lessons with me to the next adventure. If you are looking for a team leader who is go - getter, strategic, goal oriented, and has the ability to push team with enthusiasm and who understand drug development- then I am that person!
