• Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive nutrition education and obesity prevention program for low-income individuals accessing emergency food programs. Identify food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens who will participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program (SNAP-Ed, formerly known as Food Stamp Education). Schedule and conduct nutrition education sessions and recipe demonstrations with SNAP (formerly Food Stamp) - eligible participants.
