AC Education are specialists in training for foster families, schools and local authority staff. I have delivered the Timpson Programme Attachment and Trauma Programme for them, written and delivered a presentation for Lewisham Virtual LAC School and supported the review of their online training. Work remains ongoing.

I have been commissioned by West Sussex based charity Reaching Families (reachingfamilies.org.uk) for a number of years now to deliver courses to parents and carers.

When Coastal West Sussex Mind offered me the opportunity to work with the Anna Freud Centre I jumped at the chance! I have now trained to deliver The Link Programme for schools, put in place by the DfE.

I loved teaching at this special school for pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Initially, I took on supply work because I had been away travelling in 2000 and returned mid-academic year. I found the roles of teaching throughout the school years then in a Year 4/5 class for 2 terms excellent professional development.

I covered long-term sickness at this MLD, SLD and PMLD Special School. The Unit was created to enable challenging pupils to have a place to calm and learn if they were disturbing the learning of others in the main part of the school.
