Strong entrepreneurship professional with a Bachelors of Applied Science focused in Home Fashions & Interior Design from Fashion Institute of Technology.Since moving from NYC to the west coast, I've started an interior design business at denisebidesign.com as well as serve on the board of Arts & Humanities Bainbridge. Passionate about design, art and community I'm currently working on a book about the curiously creative mailboxes on Bainbridge Island titled, Meet Me at the Mailbox. The book project spawned a community project called the Kindred Spirit Mailbox modeled after the original Kindred Spirit on Bird Island, NC. I've also written articles about creativity and have used my personal life experiences as humorous fodder for much of my writing.
