This involved completing contract applications, adhering to deadlines for gathering information and submitting it to each Local Management Entity we wanted to have contracts with to serve their consumers. Manage aspects of ICF/IID billing. Maintain communications with other agencies e.g. Department of Social Services, Area Mental Health, and Social Security to ensure continuity of care with benefits and authorizations. Responsible for ensuring that all consumers are fully authorized, initially and ongoing. Maintain Lifetime Resources' Medicaid re-credentialing status within NC Tracks (CSC). Assist QIDP with variety of responsibilities including contact with guardians, securing consents, drafting letters/memos, preparing for human rights committee meeting, interviewing/counseling with consumers, participating in treatment team meetings, completing initial psychosocial summaries on new consumers, keeping team and organization aware of MCO updates via attending various provider meetings, etc. Responsible for coordinating screening and admission process with families.
