GRUPO CERRADINHO - National family business - AgribusinessChief Financial and Administrative Officer  Reporting to the CEO and Shareholders, responsible for: HRD (Human Resources Development), CSA (Administrative Service Center), Costs and Budget, Finance, Structured Financial Transactions and IT; Responsible for restructuring the company, specializing and preparing it for entry of new shareholders and capitalization; Support of the Board and shareholders in strategic decision making. On that occasion the group had three sugar and alcohol and cogeneration units with revenues above R$1 billion. Main Actions and Workforce Coordination in developing policies, practices and procedures, implementing new management concept at the company. Creating strategic KPI's and the BSC concept. Suitability matrix requirements and review of all operational flowcharts; Shareholder Restructuring; Review of audit processes, creating balance qualified and update the CPC's; Management of operational and financial flows; Renegotiation with suppliers;  Implementation of Corporate Governance; SAP Implementation;  Due Diligence; Debt Renegotiation.

 Reporting to the Vice-President; Was responsible for a budget of USD60 MM and originating higher added value business for the Investment Bank’s specialized portfolios (Structured Finance, Project Finance, Equity Capital Market, Debt Capital Market, Derivatives and M&As); Approves credit and structured finance limits; Defines and negotiates the budget and strategy for fulfilling same according to product line; Coordinates the global strategy of clients; Consolidates the commercial plan of all businesses with clients; Communicates with Global and Local Bankers; Continuously assesses the coverage team’s performance.

 In August 1999, went to work for BBVA Brazil as a Corporate Account Manager in Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of implementing a portfolio of accounts with annual revenues in excess of R$100 million, which did not exist until then. Activities included the prospecting and development of an institutional relationship, preparation of credit proposals, write-up of sales plans, as well as the origination and structuring of financial transactions. In four months’ time, had a portfolio of 25 active clients with loans amounting to R$400 million and liabilities of R$180 million; In May 2000, was transferred to São Paulo to take over the Departments of Steel, Mining and Telecom Sectors. In less than one year’s time, consolidated 50 active accounts in these sectors, totaling a credit portfolio of R$750 million and R$300 million in assets under management; In January 2002, became Director of the SP Corporate Branch, responsible for the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, as well as the South Region. The Corporate Unit possessed 35 professionals, roughly 100 active accounts, a R$3 billion credit portfolio between New York and Brazil, as well as R$600 million in assets under management.
