I was a senior attorney in the Complex Commercial Litigation group. My practice focuses on various forms of complex litigation in both court and in arbitration. I have extensive experience litigating and counseling clients on a variety of matters involving contracts, various business torts, bankruptcy, class actions, copyright, and antitrust, in the media, banking, energy, insurance, healthcare and manufacturing industries. I also have substantial experience conducting and overseeing internal investigations, as well as interfacing with governmental entities in connection with their investigations. I have managed teams of associates through all phases of litigation and have hands on experience with virtually every aspect, including preparing the initial pleadings, overseeing and conducting document discovery, interviewing current and former employees, arguing motions, preparing for and taking depositions, and preparing for and conducting witness examinations for trial.In addition, I have represented pro-bono clients in asylum, adoption and naturalization matters.

I worked with PRLDEF on a trial resulting in a landmark decision in Lozano v. City of Hazleton, 496 F. Supp. 2d 477 (M.D. Pa 2007), holding unconstitutional a city ordinance prohibiting, among other things, landlords from renting apartments to undocumented immigrants. In addition to preparing clients for their depositions and trial testimony, I was an active member of the trial team, conducting both direct and cross-examinations.

I assisted Justice Sotomayor with preparing for matters to be heard by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, including conducting legal research and drafting bench memoranda on matters pending before the Court.
